(Co-Owner of the North Park Fishing Club) grew up fishing in Northern Michigan streams. After earning his B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Management at Michigan State University he spent several years conducting studies on birds of prey in Michigan and Flagstaff Arizona before taking a position as guide in Alaska King Salmon Lodge. During the heart of the summers he was guiding in Alaska and migrating south for the Spring, Fall and Winter in northern Colorado. In Steamboat Springs where he resides in the off season, Pat guided for 17 years on the Colorado, private water in the Steamboat and North Park area's. Over the years Pat has become very knowledgeable in pond design, still-water fisheries ecosystems, river resoration and has extensive experience in trail design and construction.
Heavily experienced in wildlife, fishing and hunting Pat was a logical choice for the Riverkeeper position and the development of what has become The North Park Fishing Club.
Pat also is a licensed Real-Estate associate broker in Colorado and is heavily experienced in recreational ranch properties.
Jr (John Reese)
Jr is the club's personal chef and office manager, while coordinating your guide and dwelling requirements, he will discuss cooking needs. He creates a delicious home-style dishes, like smoked pork loins, grilled vegetables and homemade ice cream. After a long day on the river, treat yourself to a fine hot meal.
Timmy Meagher
A native of Colorado, Timmy has been hunting and fishing basically his entire life. Blessed with strong athletic skills Timmy pursed a hockey career which eventually turned to free style skiing. After a great career ending in a bad accident Timmy became a coach for the winter sports club in Steamboat Spring. He has coached several Olympic medal winners and is also a detailed oriented taxidermist. Timmy has guided fishing and hunting for Tri-State outfitters for 12 years. His mellow demeanor, teaching passion and a true zest for the outdoors makes Timmy, "one in a million".
Royce Olney
This is Royce's fourth year at the club, he has the most intensity on our guide staff. He will work hard to ensure your time on the water is well spent. Also blessed with great athletic skills, Royce played college basketball for the "Lobo's" at the university of New Mexico. He has many captivating stories of his career!. Also blessed with an incredible sense of humor there will not be many dull moments in the day. Royce is also a master hunter and spends his time in the Kaihbab National Forest in Arizona and in Mexico hunting trophy mule deer. In the winter Royce trains quarter-horses for his uncle in New Mexico.
John and Nikki Evert
John started with Tri-State outfitters as a hunting guide. Like his good friend Bridger Petrini, John is a master hounds-man. Since the age of fourteen, John has been in the woods looking for the perfect track. Recently, John has spent the last three years at the club, reading seams in the currents instead of tracks in the woods. John knows the water at the club and has the skill and determination to figure out the right drift. John and Nikki has two beautiful children, Michael and Jacob.
Patrick Dodge
This is Patrick's second year at the club. I met Patrick working on the ski hill at Steamboat, he expressed a desire to become a fishing guide. He spent one year, working for me at Marabou, learning the trick's of the trade. Patrick has shown a great wiliness to learn all of club water's which in-turn will make him a great guide for the club. Anytime, he gets a chance, you can find him on the water. He has a true passion for fishing, which shows when he is guiding. Patrick spends his winters in Steamboat, finding fresh snow any chance he gets. His passion for snowboarding is second to his passion for fishing.
Jenny Gonzalas "Cabin Keeper"
This is Jenny's first full year at the club as cabin Keeper!! She has worked part-time for us the last three years and she knows the cabins inside and out. She is the proud mother of three fine kids. She has a tremendous work ethic and keeps the cabins spotless.
