Lodging facilities of the North Park Fishing Club

*Office House: This is the office for the North Park Fishing Club. This is where club members must stop if a temporary parking pass is needed or if a guest needs to sign a release form. It all so serves as a good meeting place for any guide trips.
Directions from Walden: Go North out of Walden and turn left (West) on First Street. Travel until you cross over a cattle guard. You will see a white house that sits to the North. This is the office.
* Little Bighorn House: The little bighorn cabin is located on the North Platte River. It has four bedrooms and can sleep up to six people. It was the old cook house for the wrangler. It is located on the North Platte River, offering incredible fishing access.
* New for 2008 – The Bighorn House: This is the new lodge for the North Park Fishing Club, any members that wish to stay are committed to use the chef services and guide staff. The lodge will accommodate up to 10 people comfortably and is our largest facility, perfect for a corporate retreat or a family gathering. Chef JR and staff will make sure your stay will be spectacular. This is also the best location for all of the fall hatches on the Platte. The lodge is within walking distance to the North Platte River.
Directions from Walden: From Walden, travel North to the town of Cowdrey. Turn west on county road 6. Before you cross the North Platte River turn left into the Big Horn Unit. The Little Bighorn house is the first white house on the right. The Bighorn house is the 2nd large house on the right.
* The Michigan House: A new addition to the club in 2007 is located 1,5 miles north of Walden. This house fast became a favorite among members, because of the convenient location to town This house is a newly built ranch house with four bedrooms that sleeps up to 8. This is a fully furnished house, and is very comfortable!!! There is also a private still-water fishery next to the house.
Directions from Walden: Head north out of Walden for 1.5 miles. The house will be on your left, it has a green roof and looks like the Dodge House. Look for a sign that that reads, Diamond J Ranch.
* The Dodge House: A new addition to the North Park fishing club in 2004, the Dodge house is a favorite for many members. Located near the Canadian river, also 1.5 miles from Dodge Lake, this newly built ranch home has 5 bedrooms and will accommodate up to 8 people. You’ll be staying in complete seclusion with world-class scenery in your back yard.
Directions from Walden: From Walden, travel east on 5th Street. Fifth Street will turn into county road 12E. Go 10 miles until 12E forks with county road 29. Veer to the left, staying on 12E. Stay on 12E for 2 more miles until it forks again. Veer to the left again; you will no longer be on 12E. Go through the gate and this road will take you to the Dodge house.
*Richard’s cabins: The Richard’s cabin ia also located on the West side of the valley on the North Fork of the North Platte. The cabin is rustic and does not have running water. . You can fish right from the cabins, it sleeps 3 people.
Directions from Walden: Go south on 125 cross the Illinois River and then turn right on 12w. Follow the signs for 12W. Stay on 12w for 12 miles, until it tees with county road 16. Turn right and travel approximately two miles, look for the Richard’s mailbox on the left side of the road. Turn left at mailbox and veer to the right to access the cabin.
*The Lodge: The lodge is located on the east side of the valley on the upper Canadian River. Fishing is a stones throw away from all of the cabins located on Canadian. This facility can house up to eight people.
*The Lodge Annex: The lodge annex is located in the same building as the lodge. It is a room located on the east side of the lodge. It has one single bed and a shower.
*Bunkhouse: The Bunk is located next to the lodge. It sleeps four people and has a full bathroom and a full Kitchen.
*Dickens House: The Dickens house is located to the North West of the lodge. The house was the main headquarters for the Canadian river ranches. It is very comfortable. It has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to nine people.
*School House: The School house is located directly west of the Dickinson house. It is a rustic cabin that sleeps 3 people.
Directions from Walden: From Walden, travel east on 5th street; 5th street will turn into county road 12. Go 10 miles until 12E forks with county road 29. Veer to the right on county road 29. Stay on county road 29 for 3.1 miles until the road splits. Veer to the left, and cross the Canadian River. This will take you into the Canadian River Ranch. Drive approximately .1 miles and look to the right, you will see a cream colored lodge with the bunkhouse located next to it.
*Mace Cabin: The Mace cabin is located on the east side of the valley on the upper Canadian River. It can sleep up to four people.
Directions from Walden: From Walden, travel east on 5th street; 5th street will turn into county road 12. Go 10 miles until 12E forks with county road 29. Veer to the right on county road 29. Stay on county road 29 for 3.1 miles until the road splits. Veer to the right. Drive for approximately 3 miles cross the Canadian River and drive until you see the Mace cabin.
